Delightful Vintage "K.J.L." Signed Playful Tiger Figural Pin!

Kenneth Lane Does it again!  There is just so much personality in this great figural Pin!

I've never made any bones about the fact that I simply love the Kenneth J. Lane lines of Jewelry, especially the older lines that were more inspired from his world travels.  Here is just such a piece.

This playful Tiger pin is a great vintage piece, marked with the oldest of Kenneth J Lanes signatures (signature simply states K.J.L. with no copyright marks or symbols--please see photos below of signature) indicating that this particular pin comes from the sixties or very early seventies! 

This pin is 1 1/2" long by 1 1/2" wide from top of his tail to bottom of his paws.  It was created in a single piece gold-tone metal mold with just a basic tiger shape.  Then the tiger is decorated with rows of stripes located at various places across his body with each stripe a row of set clear rhinestones.  The only other stones in this little guy are the ones set in his face as his eyes, and those are a delightful emerald green.  He's just so cute!!

Condition:  I'm going to classify this guy to be in Very Good shape, although he's missing one stone at the base of one of the stripes near the back of his body.  The stone is so small that it's barely noticeable, and in fact I hadn't noticed it until these photo's were taken.  There is good shine to his gold coat, and while there is some pitting in the signature plaque on the back, all of the rest of the metal looks just like it did when it was new back in the sixties.  Now, I can replace the stone for the new buyer if he/she wishes, as it's a fairly common clear stone, but I find that most people do NOT like to have repairs done to their jewelry.  So, unless otherwise specified, this guy will be shipped with his stone missing.  The price below will be adjusted to suit the missing stone.
