Stunning Crystal Bead and White Pearl DeLizza and Elster Brooch!

Set on a Rhinestone base--Flawless!  Near Mint Condition!

There's just something about Juliana that's irresistible.  The stones that DeLizza and Elster used, the finishes, the color combinations and overall style of their jewelry compare with the most elite of all costume jewelry makers.  This simple yet elegant brooch is no exception to the rule...

Measuring 2 1/2" round, this brooch is so bright and reflects so much light that it looks almost twice it's size!  It is set in gold tone metal, and uses crystal clear rhinestone navettes and chatons as the base of the design.  Layered over the chatons are clear crystals and creamy white faux pearls attached with shiny brass headpins.

Juliana (DeLizza and Elster) jewelry was never signed, and usually needs to be verified by an expert in the Juliana jewelry field.  While I am no "expert" on this type of jewelry, I have been a member of the "Yahoo! Discovering Juliana Jewelry" group for coming up on two years now.  Since joining, I've become quite proficient at the identification of these specialized pieces.  This brooch, while not verified through the group has all of the hallmarks of other verified pieces of Juliana.

Easily identified on the back of the brooch (see photo of the brooch back below) are 2 and 3 section 20ss chaton settings as well as the figure 8 puddling associated with the use of them.  The eyelets (rivets) and the built in pin assembly are also present.  All of these attributes are indicative of a high quality piece of D&E jewelry.

Condition:  Other than some very light scratching on the back of this brooch, I can find no other damage.  I deem this brooch to be in Near Mint condition.  Judging by it's stones, materials, and style, I would estimate this brooch to have been manufactured in the late 60's to the early 70's.

Price:  $75.00
